Well, with the terrible year that I have had up until now,and with worlds of bad luck falling my way,I finally stayed persistant enough to get the monkey off my back, and tipped over a good one.I am still amazed that he was fully intact this late in the year, without having any points broken off.The shot was completely broadside at a mere 7 yds,and he only went 30 yds and tipped over, the ole' Thunderhead did it's job once again!
He is an 11 point with 10" G2's,8 -1/2" G3's,21-1/2" main beams,a 17" spread,with a green score of 137-1/4" gross,and 132-1/8" net.I am tickled to death with him!
As I went to the truck to get changed outa my scent lok clothes, and returned to the buck, there was this bobcat trying to start gnawing on his hind end,so I knocked another, and cured that deal.
Me thanking the Man Upstairs for this Buck
