Default BODARK/OSAGE/HORSE APPLE

Hey, any of you over in east Texas use any of that yeller trashwood for bows? I mean, I know they make great fence posts and all, but, I'm talking self made bows from one piece of wood.

I want to get some; preferrably about 6.5' in length and about 10" in diameter. I know it's hard to find a log that's straight for that length, but I know they're out there. I've seen them. Anyway, they don't grow over here and I'm considering a trip over toward the Paris/Clarksville area to load up. I just have to find a good day to do it and someone gullible enough to watch my kids.

So, are any of you east Texans selfbowyers? OR maybe you just own a small farm that's infested with that "worthless" trashwood?
