Default Spring Hunt Reservations

Ok we're going to open the books on the LSBA Spring Fellowship Hunt. Last year we called it the Grunts and Gobbles, so I guess this can be the Grunts and Gobbles II unless someone comes up with a classier title. Frankly I like the title of "Oink Boink and Beards of Fear" but not sure we can get it on a T- shirt.

There are details on the LSBA Home Page, but here's a brief overview.

Dates - April 22-24th (NOON to NOON)

Cost - $120 Total for the two day hunt - KIDS 16 AND UNDER ARE FREE
if hunting with parent or sponsor ($30 bunkhouse fee)

Deposit - $60 nonrefundable (but you can sell your place to someone else)
IF YOU PAY WITH PAYPAL, PLEASE E-MAIL OR PM ME AFTER
YOU RECEIVE YOUR CONFIRMATION SO I CAN INSURE THAT
YOU'RE LISTED

T-Shirts - We will have souveneir T-shirts. If you want one, please send
$15 with your hunt reservation and state your size.

Game - All the hogs you can harvest - Two turkey gobblers if you're good
enough to get em.

Ranch - We're hunting the Brushy Hill Ranch near Sabinal, 13,000 acres

We should have a good moon and night hunting is allowed. There is a feed route on this ranch that is several miles long. There are also a lot of feeders. Hunters will draw for feeders/locations at the start of the hunt to insure a fair chance for all. In an attempt to satisfy as many as possible, we will also allow swaps if mutually agreeable and available.

There is a trad challenge for who can harvest the biggest pig with a recurve or longbow. The winner takes a home a concrete pig signed by the losers. You probably shouldn't enter this as I plan on winning it.

Last year we had a fun hunt with about 80 people. The hunt committee decided to limit this hunt to 50-60 to avoid crowding. It's first come first served so to make sure you have a spot reserved, send me your nonrefundable $60 deposit as soon as possible to

Camping will still be allowed and you can save 30$ for your kid. You will also not have to listen to Tomme snore or Ronnie whine about not winning the long distant shoot last year!! 8)

You have had it now Biggen, I'm ready this time. Besides I have the right to whine when the man that set the target wins the prize.

He only won anyway, because he snuck off and had the contest while I was taking a nap.
