Certified Scales
The most recent question that I have recieved several inquires about lately has been about certified scales.
Restrictions impose by the State Health Department has made it difficult to weigh wild game at retail outlets that handle food products. Understandable!!!
I will accept entries weighed with a non-certified scale as long as it is not a potential State Record.
There are a variety of accurate inexpensive hand-held scales available on the market that work well.
I will also accept copies of the Texas Parks & wildlife fish records application, accompanied with photo and entry fee.
