]I had a couple of days between guests here in Mason. One of my daughter-in - laws drove the 6 hours down to bring me my grandson. He is 3. We just kicked around the lease for a couple of days shooting at most everything that we could get close to with a Red Rider BB gun. Day before yesterday we went after a deer for his mama. He sat still and quite for 2 hours until she shot a doe with my .45. Made for a cool video as you can see the laser dot on the deers shoulder. Unfortunately I could not find the deer. This afternoon we went again. After another long set we had 4 bucks and 3 does come in. Cheryl whacked one with my 25/06. They are going back to east Texas today, I'm mighty pouted up. Everything is such a big adventure to him. I moved the chains down on the gates where he can reach them. He thinks he is big stuff opening and closing them. I have another one in Montana that will probably not get to see his parents from Oct till January when he gets old enough to travel.
That's some good stuff right there Buff. It just doesn't get much better. Here in 2 or 3 years, he should be about ready to start squeezing the trigger himself.
