Default Trad Archery shops in Texas

Do any of you have an archery shop in your area that deals strictly in Traditional gear? Or maybe that carries a working supply? From bows all the way down to string silencers.

The one in Abilene is having a close out sale and the one in San Angelo has already sold out.

I've heard that Jeff Massie has a good business over in Shiner. Of course, I may have heard wrong. He sure makes a good bow!!! The longhorn AND the traditional.

Losthawg any good deals at the Abilene store? Brush Country Bows in San Antonio deals in some Trad gear other than his bows. Hope Cabela's comes to Buda as planned.

There's a sporting goods store here in Denton that carries quite a bit of trad gear. One of the owners is a die hard trad guy so he likes to keep a good stock. Also, if there is something you need he will order it quick.

Hey, if you guys see a Pope and Young little chopper, could you shoot me a PM? Not the traditional cut. The P&Y cut is more robinhoodish. Looks like it would be noisey, but I'd like to fletch up some arrows using that cut just for looks. I think they look cool with natural barred and maybe tied on.

Dang Tracey, I wish I had known your were going to want one. I traded one off about a month ago. I like the P&Y cut and still have a couple of arrows fletched up with it. I was using natural turkeys and the came out well. Hope you find one.

welcome John
No, unfortunately the Abilene shop doesn't have a website. It was set up mostly as a hobby of the fella that owns it. Now, he's into cowboy shooting and doesn't have time for archery.

His phone number is 325-698-9518. They're running pretty low of supplies as they were broken into a couple months ago. Now, everything is 50% off. You'll probably talk to Lynn German (has the cool looking knives at the trad shoots, Hill Country Shootout). Call on Thursdays between 1 and 6.
