Well now that archery season is only two months away ,what is everybody doing to get ready!! I for one am breaking in a new bow !! I am also going to try and video this year and have started practicing! Hope to be as good as the Buff and Chunky show. I have been busy building ground blinds on the lease that I hope to have pictures of soon!! Also been wondering about taking out a loan to buy corn!!

I am actually starting a bit more of an exercise routine along with stepping up my archery sessions. I did that a few years ago and I felt very confident about my ablities than ever before so I will do it again this year.
I'm jogging about 2 miles a day right now and I'm looking at getting a new bow MAYBE before archery season. I got a Ross 34 right now and I'd like to take a look at the new bows this year. I may switch back to Hoyt or go to a Bowtech. Not really sure and there is not many archery shops near me so its a big decision for me.

Curtis, Go out and get you a Mathews and never look back agian. The Hoyts and Bowtechs are just weights that you carry around. Bob

Go out and get you a Mathews. these are words that should never be spoken again. Bowtech, all the way. Think General, or 101st airborne. As for the work out that is awesome I have been getting shape also. hotpocket dead lift, 12 slice curl, and the aerobically challenging fresh beverage between commercial sprint.

ROFL about the exercise routine. Mine was consisting of situps during commercial break where I would sit up to ask the wife to get me something to drink. That quickly started up my sprinting program to get to the front door before the wife threw the beverage at me. But she was really supportive of my efforts with comments like, "Get it yourself!" and "Lazy something or other" as I quickly dashed out the door. Just kidding....
I'm glad she doesn't log onto here or I'd be in big trouble.
Actually I'm thinking about a Mathews S2. It's got my attention right now. As well as the Bowtech Allegiance and the 101. I also need to get the wife a bow more than i need one for myself.

Now if you stick with one of those, you really need to get into a real good work out program just to lug those bows around. Stick with the Mathews. The S2 is a good bow, but I like the lighter DXT or Drenalin myself. For your wife, look at the Mustang. Bob

Its not our fault you can't carry an extra 3/4 lbs or less. That is all the difference between my Katera and the DXT. Less for the Drenalin and even much less for the S2. And my Katera is smokin faster than any of those Mathews.

I'm going to look into that. She's on a archery kick right now and asking me every day since the Extravaganza about what bows she needs to look at.

You are one of the ones going to CO next month right? Lets here you say that when you get back after walking up the mountain and down the mountain, and then doing it for several days straight. You will be wishing that BUFF will trade bows with you by the 3rd day. You better have a real good workout routine. Bob

Curtis, rns is right, look at the Bowtech equalizer for your wife, and then go on and get her a Mathews. Either a Mustang or Ignition. Bob
