Whitetail hunt for 2009

OK, I have got to get away and do some hunting for myself this year. I would really like to go whitetail hunting here in Texas. I'm looking to just get away for a weekend or maybe during the week in October. A two day hunt is probably all that I will have time for.

Recomendations anyone?

How much are you wanting to spend? Are you interested in a guided or an unguided day hunt? How about Mule Deer?
