Default Bowfishing and Duck Hunting Threatened in Tom Green County

The county commissioners voted in favor of banning shooting on Tom Green county rivers and streams...

We're trying to block it right now and could use all the help we can get.

This involves where we had the Fudd hunt.

I'm trying to get more info, but here's a link to tell them we don't want another ban.

http://www.co.tom-green.tx.us/county/cocourt.html

Gonna be a hearing of some kind on Tuesday at 8am. I'm hoping I can be there.

Its basically the same one that happened to all those counties in so. Tx.

It's terrible when they do this. It happened to my home county of Palo Pinto, on the Brazos River several years ago. I used to live on that river as a kid! Miss being able to do some of the hunting we used to do on it. If we couldn't get a place to hunt there was always the river. Not anymore. It's a shame. I will be glad to help!
