We're up to 24 people. Figure we may finish out with 30 or so. Should leave everyone with lots of room an will be a good hunt.
I'll try to post back with some directions for those who haven't been before, but basically it's pretty simple.
Go west out of San Antonio on highway 90 till you reach Sabinal. Turn left at the traffic light (there's only one) and go about 4.5 miles until you cross the first named creek. About 70 yards past the creek will be a gate on the left. Come through the gate. If we have the check in set up at the big barn, you'll be able to see us from there. If not come on down the ranch road about 200 yds to the bunkhouse.
We should have signs and a banner up by 10 AM, so that we can get you checked in and off to the pasture by when the hunt starts at 12.

Got a question for thoses that have been before. Have y'all ever seen any javelina's on this ranch? They are listed in the county by the TP&W.

Well, do to some illness (flu), it has been decided that I will be going alone to the hunt this weekend. My daughters will be home recouping.
Tomme, is there buckhouse space available? or I may get a room in Uvalde with BUFF. I am not pulling the RV just for me.
Looking forward to seeing everyone.
Mark

Can anyone tell me the approximate drive time from San Antonio to the ranch? My son has soccer Thursday eve so I'm trying to figure out exactly what time in the middle of the night Friday am I need to leave. I know the drive time to SA, but not sure from there. Thanks for any help.

Roger,
My guess is 2 and a half. It depends on where in SAT you start measuring, and how fast you drive of course. The ranch is only a couple of minutes south of Sabinal. The hunt starts at noon on Friday, so I wouldn't think you would have to leave too early. Besides the good pig huntin starts a little before dark.
