Texins Archery Club Banquet/Auction 1/24/09

North Texas archers, come join the Texins Archery Club for our inaugural Annual Banquet/Auction! Our goal is to make this an event similar to Ducks Unlimited Banquets, except it will be an Archery Industry event for this region. TPWD, ASA, TBOT, LSBA, TTHA, DSC, DIVAS, Elm Fork Shooting Range, etc. will have promotional booths set up and have donated memberships for the silent auction.

This exciting fundraising event and night of fun is to be held at the Brookhaven Country Club 7-11PM Saturday, January 24, 2009. The club is located at 3333 Golfing Green Dr., Farmers Branch, TX.

The evening will feature hundreds of silent auction items, seated dinner, special guest speaker Ted Cruz, and music by Buzz Andrews! Proceeds will be used to enhance club programs designed to promote archery with youth. Tickets are $35 each and reserved tables are now available for sale. Hi Bob! I received my email invite awhile back and would love to go! However, we have our EC meeting that same day in Bryan. I am not sure I can make it back here in time. Can I purchase tickets at the door if I do make it?

Sorry, but all ticket sales are advance-only...we need to know our headcount in advance as much as possible to coordinate with the facility we are using.

Update - Tickets for the first annual Texins Archery Club Banquet & Auction will be available thru Wednesday, January 21. Sorry, but they will not be available at the door. Contact Doug Moore (972 998 9480, or doug.moore@us.fujitsu.com) to purchase tickets.

The Banquet is Saturday, January 24, at the Brookhaven Country Club, 3333 Golfing Green Dr., Farmers Branch, Tx, 75234. Activities start at 6pm, dinner will be at 7pm.

This will be a fun evening with a variety of activities, including a Paintball arcade and a LaserShot interactive shooting game. There will be a raffle, door prizes, and a silent auction featuring everything from business services to hunts, archery gear to Mavericks & Stars merchandise. Throw in a great meal, live music by Buzz Andrews, and guest speaker Ted Cruz, who will speak on his experiences defending the State of Texas and the Second Amendment to the Supreme Court, and the event will be a great evening! Proceeds from this event will benefit the Club's expanding youth archery program serving the Dallas area, as well as facility improvements for club property.
