Default East Texas hog lease...

PLEASE HELP me with my New Year's resolution...I'm looking for a family hog/deer lease for next year and figure now is the time to start looking.

I debated on getting myself on a "trophy lease" this year but have decided that I need to find a small place closer to home where I can take my daughter, nephew and brother-in-law and help the seeds of interest take root to insure that I have some future hunting buddies and that these kids learn the joys of the outdoors at a young age...I can always daylease at BAO for myself.

What we are looking for is a small place to lease year round within a 2 hour drive of Rockwall with hogs and maybe some deer. Stock ponds or nearby fishing holes a plus.

I have a couple of friends with leases in East Texas helping out already but I figure it can't hurt to put the feelers out here.

Any tips, leads or advice is appreciated...send any contact info via PM please.

On a related note...

I've been surfing online quite a bit this afternoon...I hate looking for a new lease.

Anyhow, there are dozens of "pay for my list of leases" sites out there...I would also appreciate feedback for anyone that is member of one of these sites that you feel would be worth the money?

I am hesitant to invest the cash only to get a short list of contact names for leased properties.

Thanks again.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate ya'll helping out.

Phillip Renshaw? Doesn't ring a bell but something in one of those areas would be very close to home and that's a major plus!

Thanks again.
