The National Archery in Schools Program State Tournament will be held Thursday, March 6th, 2014 and volunteers are needed to assist the LSBA in hosting the practice range. It is located at:
Bell County Expo Center
301 West Loop 121
Belton, Texas 76513
Directions at:
www.bellcountyexpo.com
Set-Up:
We will again build a NASP range with 100 targets. If you can come on Wednesday, March 5th to help set-up the room that would be fantastic. We will set-up the arrow curtains, targets with numbers and faces, bow racks, quivers, clip boards with score cards, arrows, tape the floor, and set-up an equipment check-out area. Set-up will start at 10 a.m. until finished. If you have Genesis bows that schools can borrow during the tournament, please bring them.
Tournament Day:
On Thursday during the tournament, in addition to adults at the targets (Lane Officials) helping score arrows, we'll need help with the Equipment Check-out, Safety and Scoring Briefing, Lane Judging, running the Practice Range, and more. This year there are 6, one hour and fifteen minute flights with maximum 200 students each flight. The tournament starts with the first flight at 9 a.m. and ends with the last flight starting at 3:15 p.m.
