Default Texas Women's Shooting Sports...

I traded business cards with Cheryl Long (President of the TWSS) on Friday night at the TTHA show and we visited briefly about helping fill a void in their annual DIVAs function. Texans Archery had previously helped with this event but they do not have anyone to help introduce these ladies to archery/bowhunting this year.

Even though I will be unavailable for this event, I thought I would post this e-mail here and see if we can put together a team to help these ladies out...

Hi Joe,
It was so good to meet you at the TTHE this past weekend.
If you would, please send this request on to the powers that be.
Hope you will be one of the instructors for our clinic!!
THANKS for helping us! Cheryl

The Texas Women's Shooting Sports - DIVAs are in need of archery instructors (compound bow and any other types), targets and equipment for our upcoming 2008 Fall Ladies Shooting & Outdoor Clinic, Saturday, Sept 27 at Elm Fork Shooting Park, 8a to 4p.

I know your organization is accustomed to working with large groups. We should have anywhere from 150 to 200 participants, some or all may be wanting bow instruction. (We also offer pistol, rifle, shotgun, crossbow, fly casting, spin casting, BB gun, blackpowder and hunting dog training.) Each lady may enroll in 1 to 6 disciplines. Name badges and lunch are provided for all instructors. We all break for lunch at the pavilion at Elm Fork.

If this is something your organization is interested and able to help the DIVAs, please contact me at your earliest convenience!

Thank you in advance for your consideration!

Sincerely,
Cheryl Long
