Fortunately, the ones on Galveston County Beaches were not from the Deep Horizon spill.
Unfortunately, the ones found on McFaddin Beach in Jefferson County were.
We were out in the Gulf and Bay today and didn't see anything that looked oil related. I hope it stays that way, but I'm sure we will see it sooner or later.
I am just sickened by the spill. No telling how long it will take the ecosystem to recover from the damage.
