The aquarium tubing always did the trick for me. I know Chunky had problems when he tried it but I always fit the first one insert to nock, weigh it and measure the others by weight only. They tubing fits pretty tight inside CX Heritage shafts so there's very little noise/rattle. You do have tune each one and then glue the nocks in or they'll pop off when you're target shooting.

The 8th Dwarf (aka, Too Short; aka, Paul Brunner) had some heavy wooden shafts made out of Dymondwood for his buffalo hunts a couple of years ago. Same laminated stuff they use on bow risers.

Worked well for him on both Water Buff & Cape Buff that year.
