If it's not broken I just clean it, put a fresh edge on the broadhead, paint a red ring around it below the fletchings and back in the quiver it goes.

I have had aluminum arrows with 3 or 4 rings before retiring them due to damage...most kills on a single carbon was 7 before it broke.
