I see your problem. He's right in front of the feeder so if he never got closer than 40 yards you must be setting up too far out.


That would make it worthwhile to get up. On a related outdoor note, in the summer I've taken to setting out a couple of lines when I go to bed. Kind of makes it worthwhile to stagger out of bed in the morning (I am not a morning person!) Some days I'll look out the window and my line has been pulled way off to the side. Found a couple of good reds on there. Sweet!
