That's a purdy buck! Good rack and good body....he will definitely be a prize next season.
You mentioned the batteries running out on your trail cam. I'll pass along a little tip after I have used three different brands of trail cams the last four years. I have a Moultrie IR 40 with a solar panel charger that is by far the best overall camera of the three. It's pictures are not quite the quality of my Cuddeback Expert but the battery life (months and months, thousands of pictures) is exceptional. The Cuddeback Expert eats D cell batteries like good cake. When I get back home I'm going to replace the Cuddy with another Moultrie IR 40 with the solar panel.
My other camera is a cheapo Bushnell that gives me what I paid for....not much. It has a problem with sunlight during daytime....a lot of distortion on bright days. It is ok for night time pics and is good on batteries even though it doesn't have a solar panel.
If you are going to rely on a camera for months of use without checking it, you might want to check out the Moultrie.....with the solar panel.
