Looks like you got a heck of a place down there. How is the hog hunting in the late winter/early spring time?

We will have the Grunts and Gooble hunt down there this spring. We get the hole ranch so you guys sign up this year and come on that hunt with the LSBA.
Tim I'll bet they have a few spots left, they do have some good deer. Its like any other day hunt, it is a hunt. Really good people. I've been there a lot so if I can help just ask.
Lets hunt:fencing:

This ranch has been a great sponsor of bowhunting and the LSBA hunts for years. Something like 13,000 acres, and it's low fenced. The animals get smart, but if you're smarter you have a chance for a real trophy.

We've got some great memories from our spring Grunts and Gobbles hunts there too. Especially after the river came up! Just ask those East Texas "Soggy Bottom Boys."

Calling it wet is kind of like calling the Mojave a little bit sandy. LOL

Bullrdr82 12-19-2007 08:00 PM

But Ronnie, not all of us got to "enjoy" the ranch like you did!!!

Injun - Calling that wet would be an understatement!!! That was down right SLOPPY!!!

Our hunting group just went there for the last week of deer season. We hunted the river pasture and saw lots of deer and turkeys. Everytime I went out i saw no less then 15 deer in front of me at one time. We all saw quite a few big bucks just not quite any shooters. The 14 inch rule was a killer on us. We saw lots of real big tall 8, 9, 10 point bucks that easily would have been trophy bucks, but they were just to close to 14 inches to risk breaking the rules....That was our first time there and we are already decideing on when to go next year.
