Africa in 11 days

The last piece of the plan arrived today. 12 -- 180 grain German Kinetics broadheads. They are alot smaller than the Zephyers I have been shooting with just a 1 1/8" cut but they are thick and super sharp. These new heads are the last thing on my list. Tickets are bought, arrows are fletched. I'm flying to Montana tomorrow to play with my new grandson this week then next Friday...AFRICA :D

Those are some super heads. We had a hunter at the ranch last year that used those and they were impressive. Good luck in Africa. Can't wait to see and hear about the results.

Are you crazy!!

Buff, I thought I was the only guy that lost his mind and paid that kind on money for a broadhead!...........
I was helping a buddy of mine that will be heading to RSA with me in a few weeks. He will be hunting giraffe and was needing heavy arrows and broadheads. He has gotten some Grizzlie Sticks and now the Silver Flame heads. When I first saw these I fell in love! They have to be the best thing out there!
I could not help my self and just had to have a few!! Can not wait to try them!
Good luck in Africa and congrats on the grandbaby!

Nice broadhead! What's the grandsons name!

BUFF 06-19-2007 06:00 AM

Ivan Maurice Thomas :D

Maurice is a good, strong name. One of the Thompson brothers. ;) Ivan's a strong name too as in the Tsar, Ivan the Terrible (suitable for all little boys under the age of 90).

Oh, do you need a translator for Africa? I speak Arkansas... :P
