tinman you did a great job capturing the moment. the kids all had a great time.
it was good to have finally met you tinman. |
Good to meet you as well, Jerry.
The last series of pics with the little guy (I think his name was Hunter) are classics!...I just wish the "crime-scene" tape wasn't in every shot! |
Great job guys!! Time spent with the young 'uns is one of the best investments we can make into our sport.

Thanks to Bob for letting me play... and thanks to everyone that worked so hard to make it happen. To me this is the main purpose for the LSBA. When I was 9 or 10 I attended an event similar to the April fool. A fellow took the time to show me how to shoot a bow, It scared me for life. My biggest hope is that some day a kid will pass thru one of these events and leave there eat up with the archery bug, I probably won't even know when he,she passes thru but sooner or later it will happen. I kinda shamed a Asian fellow into shooting , he had been standing behind us taking pictures. after about a dozen arrows he was hitting the target pretty regular. I heard him tell his son as they were walking away, "boy lets go find an archery shop we need a couple of bows".

Looks like yall had a really good turn out!!

That was good stuff! Lots of big smiles on little faces. Some of the big faces has smiles as well. :D Good job everyone.
|
WOW!! Looks like a great turn out! Thanks to all that volunteered their time to introduce a kid to archery! Well done!
I agree with Buff, passing on the heritage of bowhunting and archery is one of the most imporant functions of the LSBA! |
looks fun
