Outdoor Fools Day
[color=green:cacf0fd1e0]TPWD Freshwater Fisheries Center (TFFC) in Athens is holding the Second Annual Outdoors Fool Day event on March 31st and April 1st. This event is designed to give youngsters and their families an opportunity to experience outdoor activities. There will be a dive show, traditional Caddo dances from tribal members, hunter skills trail, kayaking, fishing, snake demos, birds of prey, wildlife, and plenty of other activities including archery. Anglers may harvest up to five rainbow trout for free during this event. I believe Cotton will be having his blood trailing dog demonstration again. There

Aw, phooey!
Same weekend as the fellership hunt. You guys have fun and drink lots of water. ;) I'd like to got to that sometime. |
The Outdoor Fools Day event is March 31st and April 1st at Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center in Athens. We do not have enough volunteers to pull this event off!
I have reserved 3 campsites at Purtis Creek State Park for anyone traveling from out of town. Tent camping is not a problem and the sites have water and electricity for RV's or trailers. Helping kids and their families safely fling a few arrows is all that's involved. Let me know if you can help out. Bob Wright rww1626@aol.com |
