The Highlights of Your Season? Mine: Helping my daughter take her first buck with her trusty .222 Having my wife take two hill country bucks and a hog with her bow. Finding my wife's second buck for her when it seemed like the chances were pretty slim. |

Mine: Watching Dakota my grangson take his 1st buck and 2nd buck and a doe. And the axis buck I took with my bow. Dakota uses the some 243 that I bought when my girls were little and they hunted with me. |

Being around my little Hunter and listening to her talk about how bad she wants to shoot a "PIG!!!!!! :!:" with her new stick bow. :D |

Helping my nephew take his first deer! |

The annual Baker Ranch hunt was a highlight for me. Seven bowhunters got their first ever animal, and my youngest, Kelby, got her first bow deer. DJ killed a big 10 pt (look for next magazine story), passing my best by 30 inches. |

Chunky do you ever try for blackbuck out there. I used to go on the big spring one, but gave it up a number of years ago. Might like to try again on a smaller venue if they have adequate numbers. |

Tomme, Over the years I was lucky enough to get a couple of trophy blackbucks and some does. While they still have some, it is nothing like it use to be. They have much better axis deer now. I don't go on the spring hunt anymore, but I never miss the fall one. |

I took my niece hunting this year and she shot her first critter. It was a monster hog and she did it with a little .243 that I bought her. Good times for sure! :D |
