Meet the Candidates

Everyone should have received their election ballots by now. While many of the seasoned LSBA members probably are familiar with most of the names on the ballots, some of our new members may not be.

Can't remember when I joined LSBA but I think it was somewhere between 90-92. I am in my second year of my first term as region 78 representative. I am also on the hunt committee. I try to do as much as I can owning my own business and raising young kids. I wish I had help in region 78!

I have been an obsessed bowhunter for about 20 years and that passion has taken me to many exotic places and all my extra money.

I have been a part of LSBA off and on that entire time. I have been an active member for the past five years and am the VP this year.

I am running for the treasure position this year. I am not going to tell you that I am the perfect candidate, but if you elect me I will do the best I can.

My philosophy on spending the clubs money is that it should go to items and concepts that promote the common bowhunter and I also totally support the youth events. I would like to see a brief "nuts and bolts" of where the club is financially in each magazine.

Handling the money is a difficult and thankless job. You almost always upset someone. I will not say one bad word about our current treasurer, Janie, as I am sure she has put in many hours of hard work doing this job.

I have been a member of the LSBA since 1990 I think. I have been a scorer almost as long. I try to do as much for the LSBA as I can and time allows.
I have been bowhunting as long as I can remember, I shoot some 3D when I can. I have 4 of my grandsons shooting bows and they love it as much as I do, they are 7,5,3,3.
I'll do my best to do whats right for region 75, the LSBA, and bowhunting
