LSBA is Collecting Hunting Magazines for Our Troops
 

Sorry Dena, but I just gave away 20 years of Deer and Deer Hunting to the Temple, TX VA Hospital.

Dena, I will bring some to the next meeting. I've got some of the older LSBA mags and some back issues of "Bowhunter" mag. I'll have to drive the truck instead of the bike. :cry:

I received some magazines yesterday to send to the troops, along with an application for a new membership. :D I will be sending a shipment of magazines to Afghanistan at the beginning of next week.

There is a dropoff point for magazine in Victoria, at The Archery Shop on Laurent st.

Anybody going to the Shin Oaks hunt that I could drop some off with? Shoot me and email or PM and I'll try to remember to load them in the truck before we head out.

Rbridges, I bet Injun will not mind bringing the mags back my way. I will shoot him and email. I can pick them up from him at Santa Fe Archery. Thanks for your donation! I will be sending the first two boxes out to the troops today!

Sounds good, Steve! LSBA also has a collection box at Bass Pro Shop in Katy, if that is more convenient for you.

I would also like to thank John Shelley of Brazos Archery Outfitters for the box of hunting magazines that he sent to me and Kirk Allen for the ones he dropped off at BPS. I will be sending out a huge box to the troops this week.
