New LSBA Editor needs your help

Thanks, the Ms Dena and the EC of LSBA, I have been appointed to and proudly accepted the role of LSBA MAgazine editor!

My main objective is to get the magazine on track. To do this, I need your help. My goal is to have at least two issues of the magazine in reserve. If I am going to accomplish my goal, I need each of you to send me your stories and photos NOW! When sending photos, be sure to include name of hunter, ranch info, archery equipment used and name of photographer.

Dont sit and wait on sending your stories either. SEND THEM NOW! I dont care what season it is. I dont care what issue it is. Turkey season, bow fishing, exotics, hogs... SEND THEM NOW!!!

I have several ideas on how I want to make the magazine AND organization better, but this is YOUR organization. What do YOU want to see in the magazine? What do YOU want LSBA to do for Texas Bow Hunters? We need your input. We need your participation.

The LSBA EC and I will be working hard to protect and preserve the foundation, tradition and heritage of bowhunters in Texas. Members of the LSBA must do their part as well. Without the LSBA, bowhunting in Texas would not be what it is today and without you there will be no LSBA.

please send photos and stories to dmarcasol@aol.com

Shoot Str8,

Dan Marcasol

Skeeter, I look forward to working with you. I have a LSBA member that has been working on a story and as soon as it is done, I will get it to you. Bob

I have a great story written by a bowhunter, but I'm not sure if he's a member of LSBA. He gave me permission to use it, but I'm not sure of the rules. I'm working on him becoming a member...

What subject on arrow building and what type of arrows (wood, aluminum or carbon) for traditional or compounds? I have a little writeup I did on bare shaft tuning that I could do some drawing to help explain. I'm game to put something together or we could do sort of a series like a follow along build.
