Tax Filing

Not sure if the organization is aware of the Monday deadline to file form 990-N to keep their 501 c3 status? Just wanted to share that.

Automatic Revocation for Not Filing Annual Return or Notice Beginning May 17, 2010

Find help here on what must be filed to avoid automatic revocation of tax-exempt status for organizations that fail to file for 3 consecutive years. Absent a request for extension, there is no grace period from filing by the original due date.

I forwarded LSBA's extension to the IRS on May 13, 2010.
