Region 77 could use some help Saturday
 

We will be pouring concrete Saturday for the War Memorial in Dickinson and could really use some strong guys and wheelbarrows. We are not going to be able to get the truck close enough to pour striaght into the form so wheelbarrows are our only choice. If any of you can spare a couple of hours Saturday morning it will be for a really good cause and very deeply appreciated.

Here is the information on the when and where.

Saturday, February 13, 2010
Arrive between 8:15 and 8:30 am
Instruction begins at 8:30 am
Concrete arrives at 9:00 am and wheelbarrow brigade begins
Where:Gazebo park on Hwy 3, south of FM 517, just south of new Dickinson City Hall


If you can make it and/or have a wheelbarrow we can use please post up or send me a PM. We are trying to get a head and wheelbarrow count.

Derek, that is a great thing that you are doing. I cannot provide any labor, but if you need an extra wheelbarrow let me know and I will try and get it to you before Friday. Bob

Good luck on your worthwhile project! I wish it were closer....I Googled it and 5 hours a bit much, otherwise I'd be there. Is there a Dickinson VFW, American Legion, Amvets that can help?

Bob let me know when would be a good time to hookup with you about the wheelbarrow. I know the SFA get together is Saturday afternoon and you and Dena have things to do for it. I should be over there to see y'all if all goes well in the morning at the memorial. Dang I just have too many things going on these days.....;)

Ray it would be good to see you again, but 5 hours is a long drive one way for something like this. Thanks for the thought!!!!
