HSUS Pushes For Animal Rightist in The White House
The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the largest anti-hunting group in the country, is urging its followers sign a petition urging President Obama to appoint an “Animal Protection Liaison” in the White House. This liaison would undoubtedly be promoting HSUS’s radical animal rights agenda.
The appeal comes directly from HSUS President and CEO, Wayne Pacelle. In it, he states, “We have developed a change agenda for animals, which outlines 100 immediate steps the Obama Administration can take to help animals -- including millions of pets, farm animals, laboratory animals, and wildlife. With your help, we can ensure the Administration is addressing these critical animal protection issues in an ongoing and sustained way.” Never before has there been a specific member of the White House staff devoted exclusively to the animal rights issues. Given the current political climate, the amount of influence this appointee might have on public policy raises serious concerns. “As if having ‘Regulatory Czar’ Cass Sunstein in the Obama Administration isn’t enough, now sportsmen may be confronted with a dedicated animal rightist down the hall from the President, whispering in his ear,” said Bud Pidgeon, U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance president and CEO. “The USSA is watching this closely and looking to see how to best combat this ridiculous and potentially dangerous idea.” |
Wayne Pacelle is definitely someone to watch. He has actually publicly stated he admires the NRA! Not for what they stand for and fight for....but for the way they organize and fund their initiatives and maintain their numbers. Taking lessons from the "enemy". He's trouble.
An Anti-hunting Czar fits right into the program at the White House....I'm not surprised at anything anymore up there. |

It is happening more and more everyday. It is funny how so many people go along and think that it could not happen here. Everyone needs to wake up and start supporting the organizations that fight for hunters rights. Bob
