TPWD Public Meeting Feedback
I attended our regional TPWD public feedback meeting last night. There were alot of interesting things brought up. But one I found really important and the guys leading the meeting didn't have an answer. There are going to be 4 counties that may open up seasons to deer hunting, 2 are in the west side of the panhandle and 2 are down by Midland area. The question was, "If they open up general seasons will the archery season also be opened as well?" . No one there had an answer and the way they stated the season, as first Saturday in November to the first Saturday in January, makes you think that the archery season has been left out. Does anyone know if that is the case? Also as far as Grayson county is concearned the doe by permit is for the general season only not the archery season.
