Double drop saves 8 point.
 

I had to turn my video camera off this morning. This nice 8 point stayed around, some time within 10 feet of my double bull. Every time I looked at the video screen he looked a little better. If I had not turned it off, I would have surly shot him.:naughty:

The only reason that buck is still walking is that you didn't want to burn your last tag this early in the season. ;)

That's it... I wouldn't have passed him up, but then again, I haven't killed every dang thing there is to kill this season like some people have. ;)

That's a great deer. Kudos to you for being patient on the double drop. Hard to say if i could have done the same thing.

I had a call from Dale.....Somebody killed the Double drop on the ranch behind us Sunday..... The 8 point needs to find some where else to spend his afternoons.
