Free Dog - Disappointing Story

While driving to the lease today to do some work, we pulled off the highway onto the dirt road and a guy just dropped this dog off and drove away. Didn't even think to get his license plate until it was too late. He appears younger than 6 months to me but I have no idea. I think he has some Blue Tick in him. He was fairly healthy and when we got him home and gave him a bath he seemed very happy. My daughter is very allergic to dogs so we can't keep him. He probably wouldn't have made it very long out in the middle of the woods in this heat. So to avoid taking him to the pound, I need to find him a home. He deserves it very much. So if you are anyone you know is looking for a good, sweet dog, then please help me out. Thanks.

txhunter, that seems to be the norm for some people. We live on a dead end street, and people think that is a drop off for dogs and cats at times. That is a nice looking dog and hopefully you will find a good home for him. Bob
