This is a great opportunity for the kiddos to experience the mystique of the Texas brush country, at no cost to the parent. It is always a great time for the youth, and adults alike.

A special thanks to BO at First Point for allowing LSBA the use of his Awesome Ranch!!!!!!!!!

Didn't they already draw for this? Maybe I missed something? Deadline was 6/15, right?

Is there anymore information on the hunt like what time we are suppose to arrive and any other supplies that might be needed. The boys are ready!

I am sure that Ronny will give some details soon on this.

Shawn, I think you can arrive anytime that first day of the hunt. There is normally a orientation that takes place, drawing of areas to hunt and then some great fellowship by everyone. In the past Ric Rosser normally came out and cooked outstanding meals for the hunt, but have not heard if this is happening again this year or not. Some items to consider would be
Snake Boots
Pop Up Blind, but brush in very well if used
Some extra corn, but don't over do it when you put it out, the deer seem to walk around a heavy corned area.
Plenty of water, in case it is normal South Texas weather :hot:
Stools to sit on
Chairs for sitting around the campfire.

I am sure there could be more. Good luck to everyone.
