Boomer is a Jack Beagle (Beagle x Jack Russel). We have been breeding them specifically for trailing blood and finding wounded game. Boomer just turned a year old and is making a pretty good trail dog. Here he is in action finding a Red Stag.

I love beagles, pure or mixed they are some of the best hunting dogs if properly trained.
