EC Meeting in San Marcos Sat. 29th

Come on by and say hello and see what goes on!! Start time 11:00 am at the Saltgrass Steakhouse in San Marcos!!

BOBSTER 08-27-2009 08:20 PM

This and ever LSBA EC meeting is open to all members. You do not have to be on the EC to come attend a meeting. Look forward to seeing members there and hearing what you have to say. Bob

Are the minutes of the meetings ever posted online?

biggen 09-09-2009 08:33 AM

Nope not at this time!!

BearOmni 09-11-2009 12:22 AM

Thanks Biggen.

Any chance that will be done in the future? Or maybe put them in the magazine.

recar 09-19-2009 10:35 AM

any chance of seeing the results of this meeting. I was unable to attend as I am sure others were as well.

recar 09-24-2009 04:09 PM

hello????

This is part of whats wrong with the LSBA. You have people that want to help and be a part of the organization. Getting the information out about the quarterly meeting is essential.

How are we to know where we can help?
What events are coming up next in our area?
The calendar has no events on it the reaminder of this year
The front web page has more advertising than information.

biggen 09-24-2009 05:45 PM

Recar call me at 830-608-4901 and I can answer any questions you may have!!

Brad Adams
Region 78 representative

recar, biggen said it best, and if you call him, I am sure he will say more. Not much going on right now other than getting ready for hunting season. Sometimes we forget to post things on the calander because, like you probably have heard before, we do have other things going on in our life. If I was getting paid to do this, I would make sure I have everything updated and all the news out to everyone. We do the best we can, and sometimes do more. I wish I could remember how many days off I took this year off my regular job to do LSBA events, and meetings. I hope that your name is on the ballot this year and you are willing to help do some of this that we fail to do. And about the advertisment, that is what pays the bills, we wish that the $25 a year membership could do it, but it just doesn't.
Bob Kana
Region 77 Rep.

Bob,

that is precisely what I am aiming to do. I view this exactly like I do my boy scout troop. You only get out of the program what you put into it. Part of the reason I was looking for the metting notes and information is to see where I can lend a hand.

I definatly understand about the advertisement.. just wanting more LSBA info as well. I am here to help and look forward to doing what ever I can when the times come. I have already enjoyed helping out at the local cabelas youth shoot and TTHA shoot here in the dallas/ft worth area.

talk to you soon.
-Bill

Bill, that is great to hear. I have no idea who is running for what right now. I just wish that we would have several people running in each of the officers positions as well as the Region Reps. Thank you for you support in the past, and look forward to working with you in the future. Bob

Was this the last meeting for the year? Is there another one in 2009? If so, where and when. I would like to try to attend but need to know a date. If it's welcome to all member to attend such.

Sorry I missed this one. I had a hunter out here and had to finish up with that.

BOBSTER 09-30-2009 07:21 PM

Curtis, that was the last one for the year. We are trying to get a date on the first one of the next year, just have not narrowed it down to one date. Will post when it is determined. Bob

The next EC meeting will be held on Saturday, January 23. This will be a double meeting to close out the '09 EC and open the '10 EC. All members are welcome to any of the meetings. The location is yet to be determined but will be in central Texas somewhere. Hopefully we can get a quorum together for the meetings. That's the hard part.
