I took the wife out on a date yesterday afternoon and we went into Luiling for lunch. On the way there I saw a sign on Hwy 183 for Caldwell Archery Club. They had a nice range set up out there from what it looked like and a phone number on a big sign. So I called it on our way back from lunch and talked to the owner. Finally I got a place to go shoot with some other people and friends and even take my kids and wife out to do some to. This only about 11 miles from my house. AWESOME! My wife was really excited about it so now I just need to get my family some bows.

That is great Curtis. We saw that on the way to San Marcos on Saturday going to our EC meeting. Looks like a nice place with a lot of targets. Bob

we were in Luling last weekend. I saw the sign, but didnt get the number. I read in the Schulenburg newspaper that the archery club in Luling were to hold 3d shoots every weekend. that would be cool!

Yeah I just talked with the guy. They are having the shoots on Sundays(except this weekend because of labor day). They start at 10 am and go to noon.
The number 830-875-5836. They will be open 6 days a week for members to go shoot.

Sweet! I know those kids of yours are going to be happy also........they do love to shoot bows.

The guy called me up this evening and said they are having a shoot tomorrow around 10 am since they are not on Sunday. Maybe if I got time I will make it by there.
