35th Anniversary Annual Membership Meeting, Awards

Banquet, Outdoor Expo, and Pop-up 3-D Shoot

June 6, 2009

Lone Star Convention Center

9055 F.M. 1484, Conroe, Texas

Guest Speaker: Carter Smith, TPWD Executive Director

Outdoor Expo~Located in the Blubonnet Ballroom 10:00am - 10:00pm

Tickets prior to May 22nd are $25.00 adult (11 and up), $45.00 couples, $5.00 children (10 and under)

After May 22nd, $35.00 adult and $10.00.

Lots of vendors, outfitters, and outdoor gear

Pop-up 3-D shoot begins at 9:00am (Lone Star Convention Center)

Pop-up shoot fee: $20.00

-Seminars throughout the day

-Photo Contest

-Youth archery booth

-OGT's Hall of Shame

-Social Hour 5:00pm - 6:00pm

-Raffle, silent auction, and live auction

Skeeter look forward to meeting and workin' with ya at the banquet. I believe we both hunt in the same general area. I have a place just north of Sheridan on Oak Ridge Ranch.

Janik Alligators

ALLIGATOR HUNT

Season runs September 10 to September 30

You will be responsible for paying for a $500 tag fee to Larry Janik for landowners alligator tag.

You can have your alligator processed for an extra fee by Larry Janik. He will skin your alligator for your needs, then cut and tenderize you alligator meat and vacuum seal it where it is ready for the freezer.

What is included:
Transportation while on the hunt.
Boat

Not included:
Tag Fee $500.00 payable to Larry Janik
Lodging
Meals

50% Tag Deposit upon setting your hunt date.

The banquet will start at 6:00 PM. We will have a few things going on all evening durning the banquet, with our Guest Speaker Carter Smith, TPWD Executive Director speaking around 6:30 PM, then on to the awards, and then auction and raffle and more auction. I found out last night that my granddad had a heart attack. He is in a hospital in North richland hills. He has open heart surgery set for Friday. I will be heading up there tomorrow. As of now I will be heading up there tomorrow then leaving Friday night to Conroe. Yall keep him in your thoughts please....

The banquet went real well, Thanks to all that came out, and to all that donated the hunts, and raffle items. I got to meet a lot of good folks, and I am sorry I did not get to visit much. Hopefully next year, I will have more time. Bob
