Grunts and gobbles

Great news! Sureshotgamecalls.com has agreed to be our title sponsor for the 2017 LSBA Grunts and Gobbles bowhunt! Along with our turkey hunting seminar each participant will be receiving a free box call from Sure shot! I am working on some other sponsors as we speak so stay tuned for details. On a bitter sweet note the hunt is officially sold out! This is great news as we have met our goal in less than a week! If you didn't Sign up in time for this hunt and would like to be on our waiting list for this hunt as well as any future hunts please let me know! Let's "Make the LSBA Great Again!" God bless and happy hunting!

Wildlife Research Center has joined in our effort and will be giving each hunter a bottle of Scent Killer to use on the hunt!

Sounds good Brian and Bob. Checking my schedule Monday to make sure I can get off work this weekend.

This is going to be an awesome member fellowship hunt. Brain has done a great job in putting all this together. I am looking forward to it and glad to be a part of it.
For those of you reading this who are not members, this is a great member benefit - to be able to go on these reduced rate hunts with fellow LSBA members. I've made some lifetime friends on these type hunts. This is just one of many good reasons to join the LSBA.

How many EC members will be going? Obviously Brian and Steve are in. :)

Sent funds. I'll make work work around my schedule. ;)

My understanding is that the hunt is full, but as you know with group hunts, there is always someone that ends up not be able to go so get your name put down as a alternate.

Call or text Brian's number listed in 1st post, he seems to be easier to catch that way than email. Hope there is still a spot left, this is shaping up to be fun hunt.

We had an awesome hunt. I think everyone saw turkeys and/or pigs. Quite a few of the hunters had opportunities, some made good on them some not so much. The kids seemed to have it down. I believe a 14 year old young man killed a turkey, a 15 year old young lady from Oklahoma killed two pigs (one each evening) and her little sister killed a pig as well (can't remember her age but I think she was 9 or so).
Everyone I talked to said they had a good time. Getting the opportunity to play music with Pete and his band was a big bonus for me. I haven't played music with guys who had that kind of talent in a long, long time. It was a lot of fun. I am already looking forward to the next one.
