Remember those special Red, White and Blue Self Nocks I made? They were presented to a special lady archer for all her contributions to the achery community in the Phoenix area. Here she is "Angeline Shield Walker" and she shoots in the SCA and looks great in her costume, bow and my arrows do make a nice touch, what do you think?

very nice! i do have to admit though, when it comes to trad stuff, i am a total dunce. what are "self nocks"?

(not to hi jack the thread, but this is kinda related, i guess. what are self bows?)

It is a horse bow, but I'm not sure which style.

A self nock is a nock cut into the end of a wood shaft arrow. Maybe this picture will better explain.
