Hunt Quest,
You just don't know how much we appreciate you stepping up like this and supporting our organization. Hopefully, we'll be able to send you a pocketful of business.

NDNRoger 03-10-2008 12:39 PM

Ok VERY interested in this now!

Do I get to keep the meat?

LostHawg 03-10-2008 12:53 PM

NDN, if it weren't for my kids all being in the "I need" stage, I'd beat you to this hunt.

...for sure. ;)

Ok! Just talked to my wife and she was trying to find me an elk hunt for my birthday! So I am so in!

I will call you as soon as I get a free minute.

Chew 03-10-2008 02:13 PM

Congrats Roger. Happy for ya!!!!

LostHawg 03-10-2008 02:14 PM

Roger, I am SO jealous!!!

That area is beautiful and there's one or two monster bulls. Can't wait for the hunt reports with the hero pics!

NDNRoger 03-10-2008 02:39 PM

Thanks gentlemen! I am so pumped right now you have no idea!:muscle:

I have always wanted to go elk hunting since I was a kid! I turn a half century old April 8th and my lovely wife has been trying to find a hunt for me! I told her about this opportunity and she said" Happy Birthday! I have been trying to book you one of these hunts!"

Just called Kevin and as soon as he sends me the invoice via email I will get him the deposit today!

Can't wait now! *doing the happy naked pagan dance* :dancing:

Course now Buff is going to want to change his plans. He is up there with Buck Medley and is not going to want to have a rookie hunting with him! :err:

NDNRoger 03-10-2008 02:41 PM

Hey! This could be the LSBA's first Live Hunt! As long as my air card gets a good signal I can post updates and pix!

LostHawg 03-10-2008 02:55 PM

Roger, he's let ME hunt with him. You're going to really enjoy it. Buff's good folks.

I'll be sure to mark my calendar for the live hunt. Some beautiful country out there and the elk are awesome!!!

NDNRoger 03-10-2008 03:04 PM

Well so far he has "allowed" me to shoot 3D with him once. LOL

Can't wait!

Deposit is paid!

biggen 03-10-2008 03:58 PM

Congrats Roger!! Live Hunt would be cool!!

Chunky 03-10-2008 05:13 PM

Well, I guess I am to late. If anyone else backs out let me know.

If you guys go and have fun maybe we can do another one next year.

If I had already killed elk, I would go and flim, but since I want an elk so badly I don't think I could stand to do that.

Mark

Hunt Quest 03-10-2008 05:38 PM

Looking forward to meeting you guys in September!!

Hot4huntin 03-10-2008 05:42 PM

S-W-E-E-T!! Congrats, Roger!! The live hunt sounds way cool!

NDNRoger 03-10-2008 06:07 PM

Sorry Mark!

My wife already says I am goig to be hard to live with until this is over!

Bad news, this may have just put a huge dent into my banquet bidding!

BUFF 03-10-2008 09:14 PM

WOW way to go Roger.... It really is important that we try to support our sponsors. I'm excited to have a chance to hunt with you. although 50 is awful old to be going that far away from home:err:

Eric4x4 03-10-2008 09:57 PM

Not sure you the second great is, but I am hoping that some of Marty's "greatness" rubs off onto me! :D

I can hear the elk LOL'ing right now!

DoubleJ 03-11-2008 04:27 PM

Roger sounds like a great hunt shaping up. Don't let 'em tell you that over 50 thing. After working out for 45 minutes or so I took a nice 5x5 mulie on my first hunt to Colorado and could have taken a rag horned bull but passed on him and I was 50+ at the time. All spot-n-stalk. Had to I couldn't walk any faster 'cause I couldn't breath!!Going back again this year after the elk.

You guys are going to have a great time and I can't wait for the video.

NDNRoger 03-11-2008 06:13 PM

John,

Yep, doing nothing but dreaming about it now! Going to be a looonng 6 months! Hope we get some good video, but the priority is the hunting!

NDNRoger 03-19-2008 12:20 PM

NDNRoger 03-19-2008 05:02 PM

I heard there was a chance he might go! Would be cool. I was planning on driving so I can bring back coolers full of meat. But what do I know?
