David, I sent you a private message.
I'm thinking you should be able to use either 50 up to, but not more than, a 60 pound spined cedar arrow. Hope the PM helps. ;) www.3riversarchery.com has test kits. |

My latest arrow project. I've got 4 fletched with 2 orange and 1 barred orange so far. I like the way these have turned out. Wasn't too sure about doing the camo thing on the main shaft though. But, IMO, it worked. ;) I took the pic with my cell phone. I'll try to get some better shots with my digie cam when I'm done. ...maybe... |
Oh Great!!!! Now we will NEVER be able to find your arrows........ ;)
Those look good Tracy!! |
Thanks Danny.

Not sure how I've over looked this thread until now. Lots and Lots of great information here!!!!! Thanks, you've given me some ideas on how to improve my arrow building projects.

Glad I could help.

The problem with these arrows are? They are to pretty to shoot. I still feel bad that I talked Bountyhunter into shooting the pop up, and he broke one of his arrows. Really, these arrows are awesome. You really have patience. Bob

Bob, if you think my arrows are pretty, you should see JEFFRO's.
Dana has. ;) A lot of the techniques I use I've learned from him and a friend of mine who lives in Georgia. |
Hard to believe it's been over a year since I've built any arrows.
Hopefully, I'll get back to it soon. Y'all have a good season opener Saturday, I'll be using the camo arrows. Also, Matt is up to hunting weight and accuracy. He finally gets his opener. |
Wow!!!
10 years!!! That went quick! |
The issue with these jolts are? They are to beautiful to shoot. Notwithstanding I feel horrible that I persuaded Bountyhunter to shoot the jump up, and he broke one of his jolts. Incredibly, these jolts are stunning. You really have steadiness. Influence
