LSBA Crew Does Some Extreme Bowfishing

At the LSBA Banquet this year, I won a 1/2 price bowfishing trip for four with Extreme Bowfishing. Bobster and I quickly decided on a trip to Choke Canyon for big alligator gar. We invited our good friends, Doublej and his wife Carrie. Chunky was invited along for entertainment purposes and he did not disappoint! :D

We scheduled a night trip for June 23rd. Our deer lease is located in Three Rivers, so we all stayed at the cabin. Bobster and I headed down to the lease on Friday morning with the weather looking dismal at best. We arrived at the deer lease in the rain. :( It wasn

Great recap of the action. It was one heck of a trip, spent with wonderful people. I never thought I could get tired of shooting at carp. They were coming at us very every direction. And then there is Chunky, he is not going to let a fish get the best of him :lol: . I cannot wait to make this trip again :D . Great recap Dena. I totally agree that it was a great weekend with friends. The Kana lease has tremendous potential and their camp is really a great get-away. I was really glad the rained held off for us and we were able to get the bowfishing trip in. I'm not sure the guide thought we were going to get it in but I think we showed him that we had the grit especially when Chunky went in the water after his fish. That was classic! As a first timer at bowfishing I have to say I really didn't know what to expect. Aside from my little
