The shoot at BPS on July 21 and 22 will be a pop up 3 D shoot. I was there last year but did not shoot. Looked like alot of fun. This shoot is all about how fast you can nock an arrow and hit the the target. You can shoot either compound or recure or both. You can shoot as many times you would like as long as you continue to pay. Last year it was $10.00 a round, 10 arrows in a round. You would shoot five targets, regroup and shoot five targets again. What I noticed last year was that stickbow shooters were faster than compound shooter, cause all they did was nock an arrow and shoot, while a compound shooter had to nock, lock the release aim, then shoot. If I remember right, Sunday was used for shoot off's only. There were no qualifcations on Sunday. Come out and shoot this year, I will be there helping out again, or being in the way, not real sure which it was last year. Hope this helps, if any other questions, just ask and I will try to answer them tomorrow. Bob

After talking with the boss this morning, I found out that the 3 D shoot at BPS has changed this year from last years. Due to time restaints, there will be catagories set up for Advanced, Male Bowhunter, Female Bowhunter, Trad. and then for the little ones. You will buy 15 arrows for $25.00 and shoot 3 rounds of 5 arrows, taking your best score. You still can shoot both compound and trad. Saturday will be still only for qualification and Sunday for shoot offs. It also explains it more in the LSBA magazine that has just came out. I hope this helps now. Bob
