Had a real good time and it was great to see everyone! BTW, Leroy Sisco called while we in the meeting to let me know that he appreciated our prayers and to let me know that his wife was doing better. I believe she was home with him so that's a real good sign.

Really neat to meet the Legacy Members and visit with them. I hope to do more of that in the future...look for more details on the Banquet in the next magazine.

Almost forgot...a pic from the meeting with guest Tink Nathan, Von Evans and Ray Starr. Thanks for sitting in and stopping by gentlemen.

Joey, I just don't remember you saying you played a dobro. Shoot, we shoulda tuned it up over to Raton or out here. You do the blues, bluegrass or other?

That little figurine of Pope is awesome.

Gonna have to try to make the banquet next year or another.

I hack at some old blues and a little Texas Country...I'm not a 'player' by any means. The only thing worse than my playin' is my singin'!...but I have fun and try not to run too many folks off.

I was a bass player (read "frustrated guitarist") for a few years but gave it all up for food and shelter long ago.

Nowadays I just pick up the acoustic or dobro and strum a little for my daughter now and then. We'll have to pick a little next time.

Good pics and don't worry Joey I can handle the singing part for us (least wise it seems that way after a beverage or two). Course we'll have to find two songs we both know. LOL

You are bringing the guitar to the LSBA BEach Party in July aren't you?

Can't think of of a better way to introduce my son to bow hunting, than to attend the LSBA conference and let him meet a legend:
