We had a great season, hope ya'll did also.
Slowest season ever for me. I took a doe and a couple of hogs. Thank God the ladies of the house had a great year. My wife took a 9, an 8 and a hog with her bow and my daughter took a big cull 6 with her .222
I did get to hone my skinning skills.
On top of a slow season, we just found out our landowner is not going to lease his property next year so his family can hunt it. :(
Hopefully I'll find a new lease for the coming season and get back in the game.

Two doe, an 8 pt (15.5 inside), five hogs.
Also, completely and absolutely missed a nice 10 point at Elm Creek.

now thats funny right there
My 12 year old got a nice 10 pt.....(rifle)
My 14 year old got a doe and nice 6 pt cull....(rifle)
My 15 year old and 12 year old got to experience how frustrating bowhunting is for the first time....(spooky deer, loud equipment, lousy guide (me), you know the routine!)
My wife enjoyed her first bowhunts....(no shots taken but she enjoyed it)
I got a 3 does, a hog, and my first buck with a bow (7 pt. cull)...
Lost my lease (see Cull's post)
Bought a meat grinder (had to!)
Bought a meat mixer
Learned how to make sausage
Spent a lot of money and killed a lot of time.

You're in trouble now Chew, you've been infected with the "Bowhunting" disease and it will only get worse, bringing many years of joy and frustration to your life.
