A man wanted for allegedly defrauding deer hunters from around the state, including Young County, of thousands of dollars appeared in the Throckmorton County Courthouse on Thursday.

Had something like this happen out in Eastland County. A guy leased the same property to 3 different groups. There were some mad hunters!!

He'd better be thankful that I'm not going to be on his jury! I favor the Apache anthill method in cases like this. :evil:

Personally I like the wet rawhide choker and cactus thorns to pin his eyelids open where he cant blink on a sunny 100 degree day while he's spread eagled and staked out :twisted:

Anyone hear of any updates on this case. I think as hunting becomes bigger business we are going to see the penalties for poaching continue to increase in severity. It is now a felony in texas to poach off another property, and this year new mexico increase the fine for poaching a deer to $10,000. Hit em where it hurts, the pocketbook.
