BIG THICKET NATIONAL PRESERVE WILL HOLD HUNTING PERMIT REGISTRATION
Big Thicket National Preserve Superintendent Todd Brindle announced today that a limited number of free hunting permits for the 2006-07 fall hunting season will be issued each Saturday from July 8 through July 22 at several area high schools. These permits will allow hunters to take white-tailed deer, squirrel, rabbit, feral hog, and waterfowl from specific units of the Preserve. Superintendent Brindle continued:
