Need Bobster's help. Eastern Turkey season closed?

I read the other day that Eastern Turkey season was to be closed in some E Texas counties due to the drought and unknown effects it had on the recent hatch.

Just looked at the TPWD web site and cant find any info on the closings. Was I dreaming?

This, they have closed some counties in East Texas because the birds did not take off like they have wanted them to. There are still several counties that have a spring season.
