any interest in an event like this?

I have access to the employee center at my work. We have a state park like day use facility with bbq pits, play ground picnic tables, volley ball courts, bb court, 9 hole golf course, archery range, horse shoe pits and other amenities if needed.

We could have a wild game cook off, or have different booths, plenty of room for the youth archery lanes, moon walks.

I think this would be a great place to have a picnic/ membership drive/ fellowship event. Also, if anyone wanted to stay the night and pitch a tent, that would be ok too. There is a big fire ring and water/ elect hook ups. sorry no rv pads.

let me know if this is something we'd like to do and we'll get the ball rollin.

Could be a lot of fun. When would you do it and where?

I know the LSBA Banquet is sometimes in June also. I cannot remember the date, but it has been set. This sounds like a lot of fun. I haven't chimed in because I have limited weekends and never know if I am going to be off or not.

Yep, thats why I didn't want to post a date. Plus, I didn't want to pick a date, make plans and there be no interest. And I hear ya about the limited time off. I actually thought about trying to plan something on my regular work days then taking vacation. that way I know i wouldn't be scheduled to work overtime.
